Casework and Counselling
ECSS journies with family units and individuals towards financial stability, emotional well-being and healthy family life through counselling.
We work with family units facing crisis within and beyond their immediate home. These families might be facing financial difficulties, yet still fall through the cracks of the financial safety nets set up by the government.
We also work with individuals on areas of self-improvement, gender identity issues and anyone transiting into senior-hood.
Some of our previous and current cases we are working on (but not restricted to these scenarios):
Families Undergoing Financial Instability with School going Children
Families Handling Teenage Pregnancy
Families Dealing with Major Health Concerns causing Instability
In addition to casework and counselling, there will be workshops and group work to attend. These workshops focus on training of skills, career planning, goal setting, providing families with education on family systems theory and equipping parents to deal with children behavioural issues. These workshops and training is designed to empower families towards independence. Do note these workshops are customised to each family and are different from those offered in Education Programme.
We journey with each family unit for up to a year. We will meet with each family unit every month for an hour to an hour and a half. Finally, we will also have regular contact over the phone. We will review the progress and growth of each family unit. Ultimately we want to see Every Home A Happy Home.
If your family or you know of a family who might be facing some of the scenarios as described above, reach out to us by calling or dropping a text at 87539047 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
