Active Ageing . Life-Long Learning . Senior Volunteerism
HAPPY (Healthy Ageing Promotion Programme for You) fitness exercise is both a physical and cognitive exercise. Task include marching on the spot, counting backward from 30 and clapping at every 3rd number. Seniors ranging from healthy to to frail conditions are welcomed to join. This exercise originated from the National Centre for Geriatrics and Gerontology in Nagoya, Japan, and was adapted by National University Hospital.
Every 1st, 3rd, 5th Tuesday 9am to 10am
The Functional Fitness Workout uses various forms of exercises to target different bodily functions. The workout aims to improve your flexibility, endurance and strength.
